Mayor Patrick Brown’s Golf Tournament Back to Raise Thousands for Brampton Charities

Brampton is getting ready to tee off for a cause once again as Mayor Patrick Brown announced the return of the Brampton Charity Golf Tournament, now entering its second year. Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, which raised approximately $300,000 for local charities, this year’s tournament is set for July 3, 2025, at Lionhead Golf Club and Conference Centre.

Held on the renowned Legends and Masters public courses, the event will bring together residents, local businesses, and golf enthusiasts for a day of sport and philanthropy. The tournament is more than just a golfing event—it’s an opportunity for the community to rally in support of some of Brampton’s most impactful charitable organizations.

“This event is more than just a day of golf,” said Mayor Patrick Brown, speaking about the tournament’s continued momentum. “It’s about coming together as a community to support local charities that make a real difference in people’s lives. I encourage residents, businesses, and golf lovers to join us in giving back while enjoying a great day on the course.”

Funds raised through the 2025 tournament will support a range of community organizations, including the Brampton Sports Alliance, Precious Women’s Shelter, Revive, On Route to Success, the Journey Neighbourhood Centre, and Khalsa Aid.

Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or simply want to be part of a meaningful day in support of Brampton’s charitable landscape, the tournament is open to all skill levels. Tickets are available in single, twosome, or foursome entries, with prices starting at $750 per player.

Organizers encourage early registration, as space for the event is limited. The day kicks off at 10:00 a.m. on July 3, and registration, tickets, and more information can be found at www.bramptoncharitygolf.ca.
