On this day in 2020, 176 innocent lives were lost when the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) struck the civilian airliner, forever altering the lives of families and communities around the world. Among the victims, 138 individuals were traveling to Canada, including 63 Canadian citizens, making this tragedy profoundly personal for our nation.
