Brampton –Peel Regional Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Brampton on Saturday evening that has left one young man dead, with the suspect or suspects still at large.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of Loafers Lake Lane and Conestoga Drive, located north of Sandalwood Parkway East and west of Kennedy Road North. Emergency crews were called to the area shortly after 7:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Paramedics confirmed that the victim was a young adult male. No additional injuries have been reported.
Police believe this was an isolated incident but have launched a full investigation. The suspect or suspects fled the area before officers arrived.
