Late-Night Brampton Shooting Claims Young Man’s Life

A man in his 20s is dead after a shooting rocked a Brampton home late Wednesday night. Peel police rushed to the scene near Heritage and Embleton roads just after 11 p.m. on March 26, following a frantic 911 call. They found the victim with a gunshot wound, clinging to life. Despite a race to the hospital, he didn’t make it.

Others in the house—family members—suffered minor injuries, though details remain scarce. The homicide bureau has taken the reins, but suspects? “We’ve got nothing solid yet,” police admitted in a statement. “It’s early days—we’re chasing witnesses and scouring for video.”

Heritage Road was locked down from Embleton to Lionhead Golf Club Road for hours but has since reopened. Cops are pleading for tips—dashcam, surveillance, anything—to crack the case. Call 905-453-3311, ext. 3205 if you’ve got something.

A quiet night turned deadly, and Brampton’s left searching for answers.
