Two slick thieves have turned the Toronto Premium Outlets into their personal shopping spree, making off with $5,000 worth of jackets from the upscale Aritzia store in Halton Hills. Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says the duo struck multiple times between January 26 and March 5, targeting the fashion hotspot just west of Toronto near Highway 401.
Investigators are hot on the trail of the suspects, releasing photos to track down the jacket-snatching pair. Suspect 1 is described as a South Asian male with an average build, sporting a goatee, black toque, blue vest, cream hoodie, black pants, and white shoes. Suspect 2, also a South Asian male of average build, rocks long curly hair tied in a bun, a burgundy coat, grey pants, and black-and-white running shoes.
The thefts have left the high-end outlet reeling, and police are urging anyone with a tip to step up. “These guys hit the jackpot with premium jackets, but we’re determined to zip up this case,” an HRPS spokesperson hinted.
