Hockey Night in Brampton 2024 Shatters Records with $14M Raised for New Hospital

The CAA Centre was buzzing with excitement last night as a star-studded lineup hit the ice for the third annual Hockey Night in Brampton. Team Mitch Marner, coached by NHL legend Doug Gilmour, faced off against Team Max Domi, led by the iconic Wendel Clark, in an exhilarating charity match. The event, which drew fans from across the region, once again aimed to support the ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services in Brampton, including the construction of the city’s second hospital.

This year’s Hockey Night in Brampton shattered records, raising an astounding $14 million for the William Osler Health System Foundation. This achievement not only solidifies the event’s status as a local favorite but also cements its place as the largest charity hockey game in Canadian history.

This monumental success was made possible by the overwhelming generosity and support of the Brampton community. The night was highlighted by a remarkable $12 million donation from The Carangel Corporation (Greenpark Group), leading a group of key donors whose commitment to healthcare in the region is truly commendable.
