Hockey Canada Unveils New Jerseys for 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Italy

TORONTO — Hockey Canada has officially revealed the jerseys that Team Canada’s men’s, women’s, and para hockey teams will wear at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano and Cortina, Italy.

The new uniforms feature two classic options: a white jersey with a red maple leaf and a red jersey with a black maple leaf, symbolizing Canada’s strength, pride, and resilience on the ice.

According to Hockey Canada, the multi-tone maple leaf crests are designed to resemble the facets of a diamond, representing the athletes’ ability to “withstand incredible pressure” and shine under the global spotlight.

The jerseys, designed by Nike, were unveiled Thursday night during the Canada–United States women’s hockey game in Cleveland, Ohio, offering fans their first glimpse of the new look that will debut in Italy.

“These jerseys reflect not only Canadian hockey, but also the passion our fans bring every time they cheer for Team Canada,” said Katherine Henderson, CEO of Hockey Canada.

The 2026 Winter Games will begin on February 4, with the opening ceremony set for February 6, as Canadian athletes prepare to chase gold once again in one of the nation’s most beloved sports.
