Hardeep Grewal Seeks Re-Election as Progressive Conservative Candidate for Brampton East

Hardeep Grewal, the incumbent Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for Brampton East, is proud to announce his candidacy for re-election under the Progressive Conservative (PC) banner in the upcoming provincial election scheduled for February 27, 2025.

Elected in 2022, Grewal has been a dedicated representative for Brampton East, focusing on key initiatives that have significantly benefited the community. His tenure includes roles such as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Transportation and the Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Gaming. He has also been an active member of the Standing Committee on Heritage, Infrastructure, and Cultural Policy.

Reflecting on his term, Grewal stated, “Under Premier Doug Ford, our government is delivering real results: expanding Brampton transit with the LRT tunnel, launching Toronto Metropolitan University’s Medical School, building Brampton’s second hospital, and moving forward with Highway 413.”

Grewal’s deep-rooted connection to Brampton spans over a decade, during which he has actively engaged with organizations like the Guru Gobind Singh Children’s Foundation and Canadian South Asians Supporting Independent Living (C-SASIL).

As the election approaches, Grewal emphasizes the importance of unity and resilience. “The next four years are going to be tough. With a strong, stable mandate from the people, we will do whatever it takes to protect Ontario, our workers, our businesses, and families.”

The PC party aims to maintain its representation in Brampton, having secured all five of the city’s electoral ridings in the 2022 election. Brampton East, known for its dynamic political landscape, has alternated between the PCs, Ontario Liberals, and Ontario NDP over the past two decades.

Grewal is joined on the 2025 PC ticket by fellow incumbents Charmaine Williams (Brampton Centre), Prabmeet Sarkaria (Brampton South), Amarjot Sandhu (Brampton West), and Graham McGregor (Brampton North).
