Canadians tackling home renovation projects can now get missing supplies delivered in as little as one hour, thanks to a new national partnership between Rona Inc. and DoorDash.
Rona — which operates more than 425 stores across the country — announced on Nov. 12 that nearly 200 Rona+ and Rona corporate locations in seven provinces and 150 cities are now offering on-demand delivery through DoorDash.
DoorDash Expands Beyond Restaurants
The partnership marks a major expansion for DoorDash, traditionally known for restaurant and grocery delivery, as it formally enters the home improvement and construction sector.
Catherine Laporte, Rona’s Chief Digital and Marketing Officer, said the collaboration will help customers get what they need faster while making home improvement more accessible and convenient.
DoorDash Canada GM Kyra Huntington said the service aims to “save a panicked trip to the store” and deliver everything from tools to seasonal décor right to customers’ doorsteps.
How the Service Works
Customers can now search for Rona on the DoorDash app or website and browse thousands of items, including:
- Tools & hardware
- Paint & cleaning supplies
- Home décor & seasonal items
- Small appliances
- Job-site essentials
Any item safe for delivery by car can be ordered for quick delivery to a home or job site.

Rona joins other major chains offering fast delivery options:
