Brampton, October 4, 2025 — The PSB Seniors Club Association successfully hosted a vibrant and informative Health Seminar on Dementia among Seniors as part of its ongoing “Health Matters for Seniors” series at the Gore Meadows Community Centre in Brampton. The full-day event attracted over 110 senior members, blending health education, community bonding, delicious food, cultural entertainment, and interactive activities into a memorable experience for all attendees.

Insightful Seminar on Dementia Awareness

The central focus of the day was a powerful seminar on “Awareness of Dementia: Causes and Prevention; Healing with the Power of Music – Singing Bowl Sound Therapy”, conducted by Dr. Paramjit Singh Khurana (MD) and Dr. Mrs. Harpreet Kaur.

The doctors provided an in-depth understanding of the causes, early symptoms, prevention strategies, and holistic remedies associated with dementia. They emphasized the role of music and sound therapy in promoting mental wellness among seniors.

The seminar was highly interactive, with attendees engaging in a Q&A session, sharing personal experiences, and exploring practical ways to support brain health through lifestyle and community engagement.

The lunch hour turned into an engaging networking session, as seniors shared personal stories, exchanged health tips, and connected with one another over a lavish and delicious meal. This spirit of togetherness reflected the club’s core mission of fostering community among seniors.

One of the most anticipated parts of the afternoon was the Tambola games, skillfully organized by Jatinder Paul and Jaswinder Daind.
