Crazier Than James Bond”: Elon Musk Promises ‘Unforgettable’ Flying Car Launch Before Year’s End

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has once again set the tech world abuzz — this time with the promise of a flying car prototype that he says will be unveiled before the end of the year. During a candid conversation on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Musk teased what he called “the most unforgettable product demo ever,” sparking intense speculation about Tesla’s next leap forward.

When Rogan asked about Tesla’s long-delayed second-generation Roadster, Musk hesitated, smiled, and then hinted at something far more ambitious. “We’re getting close to demonstrating the prototype,” he said. “One thing I can guarantee is that this product demo will be unforgettable.”

At first, Rogan seemed puzzled by the remark, pressing Musk to explain what would make the demonstration so memorable. Musk chuckled, replying cryptically, “Whether it’s good or bad, it will be unforgettable.”

Only later in the conversation did Musk make it clear he was referring to a flying car — a concept long considered futuristic fantasy. “My friend Peter Thiel once said the future was supposed to have flying cars,” Musk explained. “Well, I think if Peter wants a flying car, we should be able to buy one.”

Although Rogan tried to extract more details — even joking about retractable wings — Musk refused to elaborate. “I can’t do the unveil before the unveil,” he said, adding that he believes the upcoming event could be “the most memorable product launch ever.”

Musk described the upcoming prototype as “crazy,” boldly claiming that it would outshine even Hollywood’s most iconic gadgets. “If you took all the James Bond cars and combined them,” he said, “it’s crazier than that.”

While no technical specifics or design details have been confirmed, Musk’s comments have reignited public fascination with Tesla’s innovation roadmap. Whether or not a flying car truly takes flight by year’s end, Musk’s latest tease has once again left the world looking skyward — and waiting.
