Residents across Canada and the United States will soon pay more to shop at Costco. The wholesale retailer announced on Wednesday (July 10) that it is raising the cost of its annual membership fees in both countries.
In Canada, the annual fee for individual, business, and business add-on memberships will increase by $5, bringing the new total to $65. Executive memberships will see a $10 hike, rising to $130. Additionally, the maximum annual rewards for Executive members will also be increased.
Costco customers in the United States will experience the same price increases.
The change will affect over 52 million memberships in total.
