The City of Brampton has announced its largest-ever funding allocation through the Advance Brampton Fund, providing $1.75 million in grants to 159 non-profit and charitable organizations. This historic investment reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to supporting community-driven initiatives that enhance the quality of life for Brampton residents.
The non-profit sector remains a cornerstone of the community, delivering essential services and programs that address local needs. Through the 2025 Advance Brampton Fund, the City continues to strengthen this sector by supporting initiatives in three key areas: arts and culture, community safety, and recreation. These grants will fund projects that promote cultural expression, increase access to creative programs, foster safer neighborhoods, support inclusion, and encourage active lifestyles that contribute to physical and mental well-being.
Since its inception in 2020, the Advance Brampton Fund has played a vital role in empowering the non-profit sector, approving more than $6.1 million in funding for 559 projects. These investments have allowed organizations to develop innovative, community-focused programs that directly impact the lives of Brampton residents.
Mayor Patrick Brown emphasized the importance of the fund in complementing City services, noting that this year’s record-breaking investment of $1.75 million is a testament to Brampton’s commitment to fostering a thriving non-profit sector. He reaffirmed the City’s dedication to providing the necessary resources to support organizations that enhance community well-being.

Regional Councillor Rowena Santos highlighted the invaluable role that local non-profits and charities play in the city, offering critical services, hope, and support to those in need. She expressed enthusiasm for the initiatives that will receive funding, emphasizing that these programs will contribute to building a more inclusive and supportive Brampton.
Kelly Stahl, Director of Cultural Services, underscored the significance of the Advance Brampton Fund in fostering creativity, inclusion, and meaningful connections. She noted that by investing in organizations that understand the unique needs of Brampton’s residents, the City is reinforcing its commitment to strengthening cultural infrastructure and community engagement.
