ONTARIO — Cineplex Canada is bringing back its popular Family Favourites program, offering movies starting at just $3.99 this Saturday at participating theatre locations across Ontario.
The budget-friendly promotion will run throughout January 2026, featuring select family-friendly films screened on Saturday mornings, making it an affordable outing for families and movie lovers of all ages.
As part of the program, the following films are scheduled to be shown this month:
- Madagascar — January 10 and January 17
- The King of Kings — January 24
- The Day the Earth Blew Up — January 31
Showtimes are typically scheduled for 11:00 a.m., with exact times and participating locations available on Cineplex’s website.
Ticket Pricing Options
- CineClub members: $3.99 (online booking fees waived)
- Scene Plus members: $4.99 (includes online booking and seat selection)
- Non-members: $5.49
Cineplex says the initiative is designed to make moviegoing more accessible while encouraging families to enjoy big-screen entertainment together. Moviegoers can also take advantage of classic Cineplex snacks and concessions during their visit.
CineClub memberships are available for a monthly fee and include additional perks such as discounted tickets, food and beverage savings, and gaming discounts, while Scene Plus memberships remain free to join.
Families are encouraged to book early, as seating is limited and demand for the popular promotion is expected to be high.
