The Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards are open to individuals who:
Immigrated to Canada and contributed positively to the country
Are 15 years or older
Hold permanent resident or citizen status
Currently reside in Canada
Toronto artist and entrepreneur Abel Maxwell, who immigrated from Senegal and Togo, was among the honorees in 2024. Maxwell is known for blending Afrobeats music with themes of youth empowerment, leadership, and intercultural understanding, inspiring young Canadians through music and dance.
