Celebrate Canada Day with MP Sonia Sidhu at Lougheed Park – BBQ, Community, and Patriotism

Member of Parliament for Brampton South, Sonia Sidhu, invites all residents to join in the spirit of unity and celebration at the upcoming Canada Day Celebration and Annual BBQ on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Lougheed Park, 43 Clementine Drive, Brampton (L6Y 5M3).

This festive gathering promises a joyful afternoon filled with music, games, delicious BBQ fare including burgers, treats, and refreshments, and an opportunity for residents to come together in the celebration of Canada’s diversity and shared values.

“Canada Day is a time to honour our country’s achievements, our freedoms, and the incredible people who make up our community,” said MP Sonia Sidhu. “This celebration at Lougheed Park is about more than food and fun—it’s about connecting with our neighbours and showing pride in our multicultural fabric.”

Residents will enjoy live entertainment, free family-friendly activities, and engaging conversations with their Member of Parliament. MP Sidhu and her team will also be on hand to hear from constituents and provide information on federal programs and services available to families, seniors, youth, and newcomers.

Free parking will be available at Roberta Bondar Public School, conveniently located at 30 Pantomine Boulevard, just steps away from Lougheed Park.

This annual BBQ has become a signature event in Brampton South, highlighting MP Sidhu’s commitment to accessibility, community engagement, and celebration of Canada’s unity in diversity. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in this open and inclusive celebration.
