Canada’s Wonderland Unveils Wild New Food Lineup Ahead of 2026 Season Opening

Canada’s Wonderland is set to open for the 2026 season on May 3, and this year the park is adding a bold new menu packed with indulgent comfort food, sweet treats and creative drinks to match the thrill of its rides.

Visitors looking for a hearty meal can try the new smoked donair kebab at Lazy Bear Lodge, available in both meat and plant-based versions with sides such as potato wedges, salad or rice pilaf. Burger fans can head to King’s Feast near Leviathan for King’s burger sliders topped with creamy Kraft Dinner cheese sauce and pickles.

Other savoury additions include a pickle-on-a-stick at Après Poutinerie, a crispy chicken tender wrap at Roadside Chicken in Frontier Canada, and fresh-cut fries, fish, spiral potatoes and poutine at the Mess Hall near Splash Works.

Dessert lovers have plenty to celebrate with a new funnel cake collection taking centre stage. New flavours include strawberry matcha, chocolate crispy bites and a rich Biscoff funnel cake topped with vanilla ice cream, cookie crumble and Biscoff sauce. Guests can also enjoy deep-fried rainbow Chips Ahoy cookies or a warm hazelnut uncrustable for an extra sweet finish.

The beverage menu also gets a creative refresh. Families can enjoy a churro milkshake blending vanilla and cinnamon flavours topped with a churro, while adults can choose from rosé slushies, peach pineapple white wine slushes and specialty cocktails such as pineapple punch, blackberry rum smash, ginger peach whiskey and watermelon jalapeño tequila.

Admission starts at $45 for daily tickets, while season passes begin at $89. Dining add-ons include meal plans, drink plans and all-day dining options for guests planning to spend the full day at the park.

With new food, classic rides and the return of summer excitement, Canada’s Wonderland is preparing for a flavour-packed season in Vaughan.
