Brampton Transit Announces Service Changes Effective October 27 to Improve Reliability

Brampton Transit will implement a series of service changes effective Monday, October 27, aimed at improving schedule reliability and ensuring the transit system continues to move residents safely and efficiently across the city.

On Route 501 Züm Queen, Saturday schedules will be adjusted, with Saturday daytime service frequency set to every 16 minutes. For Routes 1 and 1A Queen, weekday schedules will be updated to enhance reliability. The new weekday service frequency will be 11 minutes during AM/PM peak hours, 16 minutes midday, 22 minutes in the early evening, and 35 minutes late in the evening. The last eastbound trip will leave Mount Pleasant GO Station at 1:03 a.m. and reach Highway 50 & Ebenezer Road at 2:19 a.m., while the last westbound trip will leave Highway 50 & Ebenezer Road at 1:50 a.m., arriving at Mount Pleasant GO Station at 3:13 a.m.

Route 17 Howden will see weekday schedule adjustments to improve service dependability. Route 18 Dixie will also undergo weekday changes, with new frequencies of 8 minutes during the AM peak, 10 minutes during the PM peak, 17 minutes midday, 10 minutes in the early evening, and 20 minutes late in the evening. The last northbound trip will depart Dixie Road & Meyerside Drive at 2:04 a.m. and arrive at Dixie Road & Mayfield Road at 2:53 a.m. The last southbound trip will depart Dixie Road & Mayfield Road at 2:04 a.m. and reach Meyerside Drive at 3:03 a.m.
