Residents in Brampton will have an opportunity to speak directly with city leaders and community partners at an upcoming Community Safety Town Hall Meeting on April 23, 2026.
The meeting is being hosted by the Brampton Community Safety Advisory Committee (BCSAC) to gather public feedback on neighbourhood concerns and discuss ongoing safety initiatives across the city.

A second town hall is also planned for August 20, 2026, with the location to be announced later.
What Residents Can Discuss
According to committee chair Michael Palleschi, common concerns raised by residents include:
- Speeding and traffic safety
- Dangerous driving
- Road Watch participation
- Encampments
- Neighbourhood safety issues
- Community wellbeing concerns
These issues are addressed in coordination with agencies such as Peel Regional Police and city departments.
Why It Matters
The town halls are designed to bring city processes directly into neighbourhoods, making it easier for residents to participate and share real experiences.
Vice-chair Dennis Keenan said the meetings build on successful sessions held in 2025 and help identify emerging local issues early.
Community Voice Counts
The city says public input helps shape safety priorities and future action plans. Residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and share ideas for making Brampton safer and stronger.
If you live in Brampton and care about traffic, neighbourhood issues, or public safety, this is your chance to be heard.
