Brampton North Invited to Celebrate the 3rd Annual Earth Day Clean-Up and BBQ at Professor’s Lake

In celebration of Earth Day 2025, Graham McGregor, MPP for Brampton North, and Councillor Rod Power (Wards 7 & 8) are proud to invite residents of Brampton North to join the 3rd Annual Earth Day Clean-Up and BBQ at Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre, located at 1660 North Park Drive.

The community event will take place on Saturday, April 26, kicking off at 11:00 AM with a neighbourhood clean-up, followed by a BBQ at 12:30 PM.

Now in its third year, the Earth Day Clean-Up and BBQ has become a cherished tradition in Brampton North, offering residents of all ages the opportunity to give back to their community, protect the environment, and enjoy great food and fellowship. This year’s event will again focus on environmental action and community pride, encouraging families, students, and neighbours to come together for a cleaner, greener Brampton.

“We’re excited to return to Professor’s Lake with our Earth Day tradition,” said MPP Graham McGregor. “This event is all about coming together as a community to protect our natural spaces and celebrate the positive difference we can make when we work side by side.”

“We’re grateful to all the volunteers who continue to show up year after year,” added Councillor Rod Power. “Your efforts help keep our lakeside park beautiful and our city clean. It’s a day of action, fun, and community spirit.”

Attendees are asked to bring their own reusable water bottles as part of a broader effort to reduce single-use plastics at the event.

To participate, residents are asked to RSVP by emailing: 📧 graham.mcgregor@pc.ola.org
📧 rod.power@brampton.ca

All necessary clean-up supplies will be provided on-site.

Let’s work together to make Brampton shine—see you at Professor’s Lake on April 26!
