Brampton Neighbors, Unite! 2025 Association Program Applications Open Soon

Following a standout debut in 2024, Brampton’s Affiliated Neighbourhood Association Program is back for 2025, inviting residents to spark change in their communities. Starting March 1, this initiative empowers locals to form neighbourhood associations, boosting safety, connection, and pride one block at a time.

Through the program, affiliated groups gain access to grants for resident-led projects. New applicants can snag up to $1,500 to kickstart their ideas, while returning 2024 associations can renew their status and apply for up to $2,000. It’s a chance to turn vision into action—and make Brampton stronger together.

How to Apply

Applications open in two windows:

  • March 1–31, 2025
  • June 1–30, 2025

Ready to rally your neighbours? Submit your application online at brampton.ca/communitysafety. For questions or support, reach out to the Community Safety and Well-Being Office (CSWO) at CSWO@brampton.ca.

An Affiliated Neighbourhood Association is a volunteer crew of residents teaming up to improve their corner of Brampton. From safety upgrades to community events, these groups collaborate with a dedicated CSWO team member for guidance and resources.

Last year’s program was a game-changer:

  • 38 associations joined, securing about $54,000 in grants.
  • 52 projects launched, engaging over 6,000 residents.
  • 97% of groups said their efforts deepened community bonds.

Standout wins included a food drive that gathered nearly 1,500 pounds for Knights Table and a barbecue that united 100 neighbors of all ages, fostering friendships over hot grills. “It was a fun, easy way to connect,” one participant shared.
