BRAMPTON, ON – As Canada’s 158th birthday approaches on Tuesday, July 1st, the City of Brampton is preparing for celebrations and adjusted service hours. While most City offices, including City Hall, will be closed for the statutory holiday, essential services will continue without interruption.
Canada Day Celebrations at Chinguacousy Park:
The heart of Brampton’s Canada Day festivities will be held at Chinguacousy Park (9050 Bramalea Rd.) from 12 PM to 10 PM. Generously sponsored by Tim Hortons, Genesis Brampton, and Skydome Group, the family-friendly event promises a “country style” celebration featuring:
- Live Music: Hosted by Jesse Jones, the main stage will showcase local talent like Kat Pinhorn, Deejay T-JR, Quote The Raven, and Brampton’s own Leah Holtom. The evening will crescendo with award-winning Canadian Country artists Teigen Gayse, the JUNO and CCMA Award-winning James Barker Band, and multiple JUNO and CCMA Award winner Dallas Smith, joined by a very special guest.
- Delicious Eats & Activities: Attendees can enjoy a variety of food vendors, engaging activities, and family-friendly fun including inflatable rides, games, and slides.
- Spectacular Fireworks Display: The night will conclude with a dazzling fireworks show presented by Tim Hortons.
