Brampton, June 6, 2025 – Brampton is set to sizzle with excitement this summer as the city launches a vibrant calendar of events designed to bring families, friends, and communities together under the sun. From bustling farmers’ markets and movie nights to major festivals and charity events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy across the city.
The Brampton Farmers’ Market returns every Saturday from June 14 to October 11, transforming downtown Brampton into a hub of fresh produce, artisan goods, and live entertainment. Sponsored by Algoma University and Attrell Toyota, this year’s market will open with a special performance of Dandyism presented by the Luminato Festival.
For movie lovers, “Movies Under the Stars” will light up Friday and Saturday nights throughout June, July, and August, at locations like Garden Square, Chinguacousy Park, Mount Pleasant Square, and Gore Meadows Community Centre. Entry is free with a donation of non-perishable food items to support Knights Table.
The Mount Pleasant Night Market continues every Thursday evening until August 28 at Mount Pleasant Village Square, offering gourmet eats, live music, unique local vendors, and fun for all ages.
Canada Day 2025 celebrations will take over Chinguacousy Park on July 1, featuring live music, fireworks, and family-friendly activities to mark the nation’s birthday in true Brampton style.
The summer season rounds out with Hockey Night in Brampton, taking place on August 20 at the CAA Centre, where top athletes hit the ice for charity in support of the William Osler Health System Foundation.
With a full slate of drop-in programs, splash pads, summer camps, and more, residents and visitors are invited to explore everything Brampton has to offer.
