Brampton Gears Up for a Country-Style Canada Day Celebration at Chinguacousy Park

BRAMPTON — Brampton’s biggest celebration of the year is back — and this time, it’s got a country twist. On Tuesday, July 1, the City of Brampton invites residents to Chinguacousy Park for a full day of music, family fun, and fireworks, headlined by Canadian country stars Dallas Smith and the James Barker Band.

Running from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, this year’s Canada Day festivities promise a packed schedule of live performances, food vendors, interactive experiences, and a dazzling fireworks display presented by Tim Hortons.

“This year’s Canada Day celebration brings a fun country twist to Chinguacousy Park with something for the whole family,” said Mayor Patrick Brown. “It’s a chance for us to come together as a community and enjoy a day full of connection and celebration. With great bands, top-notch entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks show, there’s no better place to celebrate Canada Day than right here in Brampton.”

Star-Studded Lineup

Hosted by television personality Jesse Jones, the main stage will showcase a blend of local talent and national names:

  • Kat Pinhorn, Deejay T-JR, Quote The Raven, and Brampton’s own Leah Holtom will kick off the day’s entertainment.
  • Evening performances include rising country star Teigen Gayse, followed by James Barker Band, and closing with chart-topping country sensation Dallas Smith, who will be joined by a surprise special guest.

Fireworks and Family Fun

The celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display sponsored by Tim Hortons. Residents are reminded that under Brampton’s fireworks by-law, personal fireworks are not permitted—except for handheld sparklers—and the City’s event is the only approved display.
