This June, the City of Brampton is rolling out the red carpet for its senior residents, celebrating Seniors Month with a wide range of free programs, special events, and the launch of Canada’s first free 65+ Annual Recreation Membership.
Under the theme “Fit, Active and Healthy Seniors,” the month-long celebration highlights the immense contributions of Brampton’s older adults and reinforces the importance of staying connected, active, and mentally well as we age.
“Older adults bring wisdom, resilience and a strong sense of community to Brampton,” said Regional Councillor Rowena Santos, Chair of the Community Services Section. “We are proud of the progress we’ve made through our Age-Friendly Strategy, and this month is about ensuring our seniors continue to thrive with meaningful support and services.”
Free 65+ Recreation Membership Now Available
