Brampton and Surrey Men Arrested in Manitoba Crime Spree

A multi-jurisdictional police operation has led to the arrest of four men, including individuals from Brampton and Surrey, B.C., in connection with a series of armed robberies across Manitoba.

According to police, a group of heavily armed suspects was planning a robbery at a business in Brandon, Manitoba—located approximately two and a half hours west of Winnipeg—when officers from the Winnipeg Police Service Tactical Support Team intercepted and arrested them without incident.

Investigators believe the suspects are linked to multiple robberies across the province, including incidents in Winnipeg, Teulon, St. Laurent, and the Swan Lake First Nation, which occurred between February 7 and February 14.

Following the investigation, police have charged:

  • Harmandeep Singh Gill, 26, of Brampton, Ontario
  • Ravdeep Singh Gill, 21, of Winnipeg, Manitoba
  • Jaskaran Singh, 20, of Surrey, B.C.
  • Dilpreet Singh Sekhon, 23, of Surrey, B.C.

Each faces multiple charges, including five counts of armed robbery, four counts of wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime, and four counts of theft under $5,000.

All four accused remain in custody as the investigation continues.
