Axium Packaging Opens New Brampton Plant, Promising Jobs and Sustainable GrowthBy Steve Pecar

BRAMPTON — A new 227,000-square-foot manufacturing plant has opened in Brampton, with its owners saying the facility will create new jobs while boosting the region’s role in North America’s fast-growing packaging market.

Axium Packaging, founded in 2010 by Mississauga entrepreneurs Pushminder and Paul Judge, specializes in plastic containers, tubes, caps and high-end decorating services. The company also provides design engineering and tool-building solutions tailored to customer needs.

“This facility leverages the latest Axium equipment and processing technology and will be a platform to serve our customers across Canada with speed and agility,” said Founder and CEO Pushminder Judge. “Canada is home for us, and Brampton is the ideal place to keep building on that vision while supporting our employees, their families and economic development throughout the region.”

The plant features advanced technology designed to give customers flexibility to meet sustainability targets without sacrificing speed, consistency or quality. Its location near Axium’s original facility and warehouse, as well as Toronto Pearson International Airport, is expected to cut delivery times and reduce environmental footprints.

With operations now underway, the company says more jobs will be added at the Brampton site, further supporting the local economy.
