The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a nationwide recall for Swiss Chalet-branded chicken breast nuggets due to the potential presence of bone fragments.
The affected product was sold in 700-gram packaging under the UPC code 066701011479, with best-before dates of BB 2025 SE 07 and BB 2025 SE 26. Consumers are advised not to consume, sell, serve, or distribute the recalled nuggets.
The recall was initiated by food processing company Olymel after reports of injuries linked to the product. The CFIA has urged consumers to dispose of the recalled items or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
An investigation is ongoing, and further details can be found on the Canadian government’s official website.
