Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to be a guest on CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Monday evening. The interview will take place during Trudeau’s visit to New York, where he is attending meetings in advance of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Trudeau’s appearance comes alongside RuPaul Charles, host of the popular show “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, who is also scheduled to be a guest on Monday’s episode. Trudeau previously appeared on the Canadian version of the drag competition series in 2023.
The prime minister’s visit to New York will continue until Wednesday morning, after which his government will face a critical moment in Parliament. The House of Commons will reconvene that day for the first time since the NDP ended its supply and confidence agreement with the Liberal government.
Canadian viewers can catch Trudeau’s interview on “The Late Show” airing on Global TV.
