Gunshots were reportedly fired outside the Vancouver residence of popular Punjabi singer and rapper AP Dhillon, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility for the incident. Indian intelligence agencies are now investigating potential connections between this shooting and a similar incident that occurred outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s home in Mumbai earlier this year.
According to Canadian media reports, a video has emerged showing a man firing multiple rounds outside Dhillon’s house during the late night hours. While the authenticity of the video has not been independently verified, it has raised concerns about the possible link between the two incidents.
Intelligence sources are particularly interested in this case due to Salman Khan’s recent collaboration with Dhillon in a music video. The fact that the same gang has claimed responsibility for both the firing outside Dhillon’s Vancouver home and the shooting outside Khan’s Bandra residence in April has prompted further investigation.
In the April incident, two individuals on motorcycles opened fire outside Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai before fleeing the scene. The Mumbai police have since identified jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi as wanted suspects in that case.
Authorities in both India and Canada are continuing their investigations into these incidents to determine any possible connections and motives behind the attacks.
