Graham McGregor’s BBQ: A Smashing Success with Food, Fun, and Unforgettable Memories
On August 24, 2024, MPP Graham McGregor, Associate Minister of Auto Theft and Bail Reform, hosted a successful Community BBQ in Brampton North, bringing together over 1,000 residents from Brampton and surrounding areas. The event, held at the Save Max Supports Centre, was a vibrant celebration of community spirit, filled with fun, entertainment, and an array of delicious ethnic foods that delighted attendees.
Premier Doug Ford joined the event, highlighting his ongoing support for the Brampton North community. Premier Ford commented, “Events like these are what make our communities strong. It’s incredible to see so many people come together to celebrate, connect, and support each other. I’m proud of the work being done in Brampton North and thankful for the dedication of everyone involved.”

The BBQ was a multicultural gathering, welcoming members from various communities, including Indo-Canadians, Punjabis, Muslims, and numerous social organizations, senior groups, and welfare associations. The atmosphere was filled with joy as people enjoyed BBQ, entertainment for kids, and activities that engaged seniors, ensuring that there was something for everyone.
