BRAMPTON, ON – The Rowena Santos re-election campaign has launched a unique community initiative bringing together local artists, volunteers and a leading social enterprise to celebrate Brampton’s creativity, diversity and strong community spirit.
The campaign partnered with talented Brampton sisters Rommy and Yesenia Erazo Reyes, artists of Salvadoran heritage known for their traditional and digital artwork. Together, they created a vibrant and original design highlighting Rowena Santos’ leadership, accomplishments and the many projects shaping Brampton’s future.
The artwork features key community initiatives, including the new TMU Medical School and Integrated Health Centre, support for seniors and first responders, environmental projects, transportation improvements, and the Riverwalk project. The design appears on campaign posters and special “Team Santos” T-shirts worn by volunteers while canvassing across the city.
The shirts are produced locally by The Chance Centre, a Brampton-based non-profit social enterprise that provides employment opportunities and skills training for neurodivergent individuals. The organization has also been selected as an official licensee for the FIFA World Cup.
“I love that Brampton is packed with so much talent, creativity, and kindness,” said Rowena Santos. “This campaign is about more than politics – it’s about bringing people together, supporting our local artists, backing amazing local organizations, and celebrating the people who make our city such a wonderful place to live and raise a family. I’m really proud we’re partnering with these amazing artists and The Chance Centre.”
A longtime supporter of arts, culture and community festivals, Santos draws inspiration from her own experience as a musician with her band Point of Order and her annual International Women’s Day music videos featuring local performers. As a founding member of the Brampton Arts Organization, she has continued to advocate for greater support for artists and cultural initiatives.
“Great communities are built by people who show up and get involved,” Santos added. “Whether you’re volunteering, creating art, running a small business, or simply helping your neighbour, every bit counts. That’s the positive energy we want this campaign to spread.”
Marlene Spence, Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Chance Centre, said the organization is grateful to partner with community leaders who recognize the potential of neurodivergent individuals and provide opportunities for meaningful work experience, skills development and visibility throughout the community.

Artists Yesenia and Rommy Erazo Reyes said they were honoured to contribute to the campaign and praised Santos for her longstanding support of Brampton’s arts community. They noted that her involvement and commitment inspired them to create a bold and detailed design that reflects her accomplishments and presents a positive vision for the city.
Community leaders also welcomed the initiative.
“Rowena Santos has always been a strong supporter of seniors, community organizations, arts and culture, and initiatives that bring people together,” said Gian Paul, Chairperson of Flower City Friends Club. “This creative partnership reflects the inclusive and vibrant spirit of Brampton. By supporting local artists and organizations such as The Chance Centre, Rowena is helping strengthen community connections and creating opportunities for people of all abilities to shine. Flower City Friends Club is pleased to see community leadership that values creativity, volunteerism and inclusion.”
Gurmukh Kainth, Director of Southlake Club, said Brampton’s strength lies in its diversity and the willingness of people to support one another.
“Rowena Santos has consistently championed community organizations, local artists, seniors and inclusive initiatives that bring residents together. This partnership with talented Brampton artists and The Chance Centre showcases the very best of our city and demonstrates how community leadership can create opportunities, celebrate local talent and foster a sense of belonging for everyone. Southlake Club is proud to support initiatives that promote inclusion, volunteerism and community pride,” Kainth said.
