Flower City Friends Club Celebrates Father’s Day with Bus Trip, Yoga on the Beach, and Wellness Activities at Rockwood Conservation Area

The Flower City Friends Club (FCFC) is pleased to announce its much-anticipated Father’s Day Celebration Bus Trip to Rockwood Conservation Area, Eramosa Township near Guelph, on Sunday, June 21, 2026. More than 100 club members are expected to participate in this exciting day of fellowship, recreation, wellness, and celebration.

Rockwood Conservation Area is one of Ontario’s hidden gems, renowned for its spectacular limestone cliffs, caves, glacial potholes, scenic river views, and tranquil natural surroundings. The picturesque setting offers the perfect backdrop for seniors and families to enjoy nature while promoting healthy and active lifestyles.

“This annual outing reflects our commitment to bringing members together through meaningful activities that promote friendship, health, and community spirit,” said Gian Paul, Chairperson of Flower City Friends Club. “Father’s Day is a special occasion, and we are delighted to celebrate it in such a beautiful environment. Events like these encourage active living, social connection, and overall well-being among our members.”

The day’s program will focus on health awareness and senior wellness, featuring a refreshing Yoga on the Beach session, light recreational activities, and opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of the conservation area. Organizers believe that spending time outdoors and engaging in wellness activities contributes significantly to both physical and mental health.

Club members are eagerly anticipating the trip.

Kamal Puri, a long-time FCFC member, shared his excitement: “Everyone is looking forward to this outing.
