FreshCo has expanded its footprint in the city with the opening of a new 32,000-square-foot supermarket in Brampton, aimed at serving the area’s diverse and growing population. The new location at 630 Peter Robertson Blvd., near Dixie Road, officially opened its doors on April 30.
Operated under Sobeys, the store is designed to reflect Brampton’s multicultural identity by offering a wide assortment of international food products alongside fresh produce and everyday essentials. Company representatives say the goal is to ensure customers can find familiar ingredients and flavours that resonate with their cultural backgrounds while maintaining affordability.
Franchisee Vito Nobile highlighted the importance of balancing quality and value, noting that the FreshCo model is built around providing fresh food at prices that work for families without compromising standards.
The new store adds to the city’s expanding retail landscape and underscores the continued demand for grocery options tailored to Brampton’s diverse communities, combining affordability with a broad, inclusive product selection.
