Brampton’s senior community will have an opportunity to gain valuable information and guidance at an upcoming Free Seminar on Retirement Residence Living, organized by Flower City Friends Club (FCFC) in partnership with Bramalea Retirement Residence.
The informative session will take place on May 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Paul Palleschi Recreation Centre, Brampton. The program is designed to help seniors and their families better understand retirement living options, available support services, long-term care planning, and the transition from independent living to a supportive community environment.
Flower City Friends Club has become one of Brampton’s most active and respected seniors’ organizations, known for bringing people together through educational programs, cultural celebrations, health awareness events, and social inclusion initiatives. The club continues to play an important role in reducing isolation among seniors while creating opportunities for learning, friendship, and active living.
Bramalea Retirement Residence is widely recognized for providing compassionate senior care, comfortable living spaces, and professional support services tailored to the changing needs of older adults. Their team is committed to helping seniors maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life in a warm and welcoming environment.
Experts say seminars of this nature are increasingly important as many families face difficult decisions regarding aging parents, future housing needs, healthcare support, and safety. Providing reliable information in a community setting helps remove fear, confusion, and uncertainty while allowing seniors to make informed choices with confidence.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Gian Paul, Chairperson of Flower City Friends Club, said, “Our mission is always to support seniors through meaningful and practical programs. This seminar will provide important guidance for members and families who want to understand retirement living options before a need becomes urgent. Knowledge brings confidence, and confidence brings peace of mind.”

Ines Devic, Sales Manager at Bramalea Retirement Residence, shared her enthusiasm, saying, “We are delighted to partner with Flower City Friends Club for this special event. Many people have questions about retirement living but do not know where to begin. This seminar will offer clear answers, personal interaction, and helpful information in a welcoming environment.”
Club member Ram Singh also expressed his excitement, saying, “I am very excited about this upcoming seminar. It is a wonderful chance for seniors to learn about future planning, ask questions, and understand the services available in our own community.”
The event will also feature refreshments, open discussion, and an opportunity for attendees to meet directly with representatives from Bramalea Retirement Residence. Punjabi-speaking assistance will also be available to ensure members feel comfortable and fully informed.
With growing awareness around healthy aging and future care planning, this seminar is expected to be both timely and beneficial for Brampton’s senior residents and their families.
