Two Charged After $2M Luxury Car Heist at Oakville Dealership

Two men have been charged in connection with a multimillion-dollar auto theft at an Oakville luxury car dealership, where thieves made off with high-end vehicles worth an estimated $2 million.

According to Halton Regional Police Service, the break-in occurred on Jan. 11 at Lockwood Leasing, near the Queen Elizabeth Way and Fourth Line. Surveillance video obtained by CTV News Toronto shows up to eight masked suspects smashing through a glass door, prying open a lockbox and using stolen keys to drive vehicles out of the showroom.

Dealership manager Mark Kusiewicz previously told CP24 that the stolen vehicles included a Ferrari valued at about $620,000, a Porsche 911 GT3, a Porsche 911 Carrera, two BMW M4s and two Mercedes-Benz S-Class 580 sedans.

Police later recovered one BMW, a Mercedes, a Porsche and the Ferrari, all found abandoned and unoccupied across the Greater Toronto Area. Investigators said they were alerted after Peel Regional Police recovered the Porsche 911 on Jan. 12 and arrested two suspects.

Amin Hadj Kaddour, 24, of Mississauga, and Joshua Twa’colagiacomo, 24, of Victoria Harbour, B.C., have each been charged with break and enter and disguise with intent. Both were released on bail and are also facing additional, unspecified charges in Peel Region.

Halton police say the investigation is ongoing as officers continue searching for the remaining suspects and unrecovered vehicles. Anyone with information is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
