The Flower City Friends Club (FCFC) successfully organized an impactful Health & Wellness Seminar on November 18, 2025, at the Paul Palleschi Recreation Centre in Brampton. The event drew over 100 senior members, underscoring the club’s strong commitment to promoting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the senior community.
The seminar opened with warm and encouraging remarks from Gian Paul, Chairperson of the Flower City Friends Club. He emphasized the importance of senior-focused wellness awareness, stating:
“Our seniors deserve the best support, guidance, and care. Today’s session is a step toward understanding our health better and living a happier, healthier life.”
The main presentation was delivered by Dr. Harendra Joshi, a respected health expert from Health First Family and JOSHI (Joy of Spirituality & Health Integration).
Dr. Joshi highlighted several common yet often ignored issues affecting seniors, explaining how “small, small things” in daily routines can significantly impact physical health and mental balance. His session covered:
- Healthy lifestyle maintenance
- Managing stress and emotional well-being
- The value of mindful daily activities
- Personalized diet and wellness planning

During the interactive Q&A session, Dr. Joshi reinforced his message:
“Good health is not only about medicine; it’s about awareness, positivity, and making small daily changes that spark big improvements.”
Well-known community leader and senior-issues consultant Sukhdev Singh Bedi addressed the audience with a heartfelt message on challenges faced by seniors.
He noted:
“Our seniors need regular opportunities like this to speak, learn, and feel heard. A strong community creates strong seniors, and FCFC is doing outstanding work in this direction.”
FCFC President Jaswinder Daind praised the initiative and the overwhelming participation of members.
He shared:
“Seeing more than 100 seniors come together to learn and improve their health is truly inspiring. FCFC will continue to bring meaningful programs that educate, uplift, and unite our members.”
She further added:
“Dr. Joshi’s session opened our eyes to how simple daily habits can protect our long-term health. We are thankful for his guidance and commitment to our seniors.”

After the seminar, the atmosphere was uplifted with an engaging entertainment program:
- Joyti led a lively musical session where members participated in songs and shared personal stories.
- Renowned entertainer Raghbir Chauhan added charm with his performance and praised the initiative, saying:
