Toronto, ON — Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is in Toronto today to meet with Canadian veterans as part of a two-day visit ahead of Remembrance Day commemorations.
The Duke, who served two tours in Afghanistan during his time with the British military, will visit the Veterans Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital, home to more than 300 veterans from the Second World War and the Korean War. It is the largest facility of its kind in Canada, providing care and support to the country’s oldest living veterans.
His visit comes at the invitation of the True Patriot Love Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting Canadian military members, veterans, and their families.
Later this evening, Prince Harry is expected to attend a private dinner hosted by True Patriot Love to honour Canada’s service members and highlight ongoing efforts to improve veterans’ well-being.
This marks the Duke’s first visit to Toronto since the 2025 Invictus Games closing ceremony in Vancouver this past February — an event he founded to celebrate and empower wounded service members through sport.
