A quiet evening in Bobcaygeon turned tragic when a man was found dead in a local park, leading to serious charges against a Mississauga resident.
Ontario Provincial Police confirmed that officers were called to Mansfield Street in Bobcaygeon on Saturday, September 27, just before 9:30 p.m., where they discovered the body of 50-year-old Jason Bucsis of Toronto. Reports suggest the incident took place in a campground within Bobcaygeon Agriculture Park, about 55 kilometres northwest of Peterborough.
Following the investigation, police arrested 31-year-old Curtis Gordon of Port Credit. He now faces charges of manslaughter and failure to comply with a release order. Gordon is expected to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on Monday, October 6.
