York Regional Police have released shocking video footage showing four suspects breaking into a Vaughan home early Wednesday morning, one of them wielding an axe.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Timber Creek Boulevard and Major Mackenzie Drive West. Security footage shows a masked suspect approaching the home’s front door and smashing the glass side panel with an axe. He then reached through the hole to unlock the door, allowing himself and three others to storm inside.
Police said the intruders demanded property from the occupants but ultimately left empty-handed. Moments later, all four suspects were seen fleeing to a waiting black SUV and driving off.
