Charlie Woods Sinks Second Hole-in-One, Proving Tiger’s Legacy Runs Deep

Charlie Woods, the 16-year-old son of golf legend Tiger Woods, added another dazzling moment to his young career on Sunday by hitting his second hole-in-one in just nine months. The ace came during the final round of the Junior Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, when his tee shot on the par-three third hole rolled smoothly into the cup, sending the gallery into cheers.

True to his calm demeanor, Charlie offered only a quick handshake to his playing partner before repairing divots and casually pulling his ball from the hole. He went on to finish tied for 31st at seven-over-par, well behind champion Miles Russell, who made history as the event’s first two-time winner.

This wasn’t Charlie’s first brush with golfing magic. Back in December at the PNC Championship, he shocked himself with his very first hole-in-one while playing alongside his father. Initially unsure if the ball had dropped, he sheepishly asked, “Did it go in?” before celebrating with Tiger, who beamed with pride and called the moment one of their most special memories together.

Although Charlie has yet to break through with a major win, his 2025 season has been impressive. He finished tied for ninth at the Junior PGA Championship, narrowly missing out on a spot on Team USA for the Junior Ryder Cup. Despite that setback, his string of highlights—now including two holes-in-one—suggests that golf fans are only seeing the beginning of what could be a remarkable career.
