Canadian burger lovers will soon be able to sink their teeth into Bobby Flay’s creations, as the celebrity chef expands his restaurant empire north of the border.
Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay has partnered with The Falcon Capital Group to open 65 locations across Canada, marking the brand’s first international expansion. The flagship Canadian location will be in Toronto, though an opening date and specific sites have not yet been confirmed.
“Expanding into Canada and becoming an international brand is a major milestone,” Flay said in a statement. He added that Falcon Capital’s experience in brand development and franchising makes them “ideal partners to bring our signature handcrafted burgers, fries and milkshakes to a new audience.”
Falcon Capital said it is actively scouting sites across the Greater Toronto Area, exploring both traditional restaurant spaces and lifestyle centers.
Bobby’s Burgers currently operates nine locations in the U.S., with more than a dozen additional restaurants in development. The Canadian rollout will be its largest expansion to date.
