Peel Police Dismantle $400K Commercial Auto Theft Ring in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police have arrested three Brampton men in connection with a commercial auto theft ring that led to the recovery of stolen trucks, trailers, and cargo worth an estimated $400,000 in Mississauga.

The investigation began on Monday, July 14, 2025, when officers located a stolen transport truck near Dixie Road and Meyerside Drive. Two additional stolen trailers were discovered nearby, prompting a deeper investigation by the Commercial Auto Crime Bureau.

With assistance from the Aerial Support and K9 Units, police were able to apprehend the suspects and recover one transport truck and two trailers with an estimated value of $300,000. The cargo found inside the trailers was valued at approximately $100,000.

The three Brampton residents now facing charges are:

  • Manjinder Singh Dhaliwal, 42
  • Harmash Lal Dadra, 44
    • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (×2)
    • Theft Over $5,000
    • Possession of Break & Enter Instruments
  • Rajwant Singh, 31
    • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (×2)
    • Theft Over $5,000
    • Possession of Break & Enter Instruments
    • Breach of Conditional Sentence (×2)

All three were held for bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
