Residents in Brampton and Mississauga will now have their yard waste collected every other week instead of weekly, following a recent update from Peel Region.
The change, effective immediately, aligns with the current biweekly schedule already in place for urban areas in Caledon. Rural Caledon residents will continue with their designated Friday collections.
To stay on top of the new schedule, Peel Region encourages residents to check their online collection calendars or sign up for free reminders by email, text, or phone call.
