BRAMPTON, ON – The Rose Theatre has pulled back the curtain on its highly anticipated Summer–Fall 2025 season, offering a dynamic mix of iconic performers, emerging stars, and Brampton’s own local talent. From concerts and comedy to Broadway tributes and cultural showcases, this season reflects the vibrancy and diversity that continues to define Brampton’s growing cultural scene.
Music fans can look forward to major performances including the return of Canadian music legend Jann Arden on November 19 with her new Christmas Tour, and an electrifying performance by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Tom Morello, best known for his work with Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, on October 30.
In a nod to Brampton’s own Arts Walk of Fame, celebrated inductees will also take center stage, including comedian Scott Thompson as his iconic character Buddy Cole on October 2, and reggae star Exco Levi at the High Priest Reggae Fest on December 20, joined by fellow honoree Tanya Mullings.
The season also includes a rich offering of Broadway-inspired shows and music tributes. Singer-songwriter Morgan James will perform a powerful tribute to Nina Simone on September 7 as part of the World of Jazz Festival. Divine Brown headlines Re-imagined: A Holiday Affair, directed by Darryn de Souza, on December 21. Other highlights include a Nashville-style Bluebird Brampton (November 26), The Poets: A Tragically Hip Tribute by a Cree band (October 9), and Classic Albums Live renditions of Thriller (October 23) and The Wall with The Rose Orchestra (November 29).
Returning favourites include percussion showcase Flow Fest (October 4) led by Larnell Lewis and Joy Lapps, and Moksha (October 10), a presentation of Indian classical music featuring acclaimed artists like Pandit Yogesh Samsi and Pandit Buddhaditya Mukherjee. The Toronto Symphony Orchestra returns with Fiesta Sinfónica (October 25), and comedian Jay Martin brings his All-Star Edition stand-up show on November 23.
Looking ahead to 2026, The Rose has already announced three blockbuster shows: the Sam Roberts Band (February 12), Broadway star Jeremy Jordan (March 14), and country sensation Tenille Townes (March 26).
As always, the venue continues its commitment to spotlighting local talent. Collaborations with the B-Jazzed Orchestra, The Rose Orchestra, Brampton Music Theatre, and Brampton Concert Band are all featured this season. This is Brampton, a curated platform for rising stars, includes shows like Stand-Up Stitches, Crate Clash, and Flower City Slam, as well as fresh showcases like Bollywood Mashup and Afrobeats: Motion & Vibes.
This summer, the fun spills outdoors as The Rose and Garden Square come alive with free Friday night concerts on the patio, movie nights, and special events like Dandyism (June 14), East Coast Kitchen Party (July 11), and Afterglow: A Taylor Swift Tribute (August 29).
Tickets go on public sale June 12 at 12 PM, with exclusive presale access already open to Encore Members. Memberships are just $10 per year and include early access, reward points, and special perks.
Mayor Patrick Brown praised the season lineup as a celebration of Brampton’s cultural growth, urging residents to “support our thriving arts community by attending shows and sharing in these unforgettable experiences.” Regional Councillor Rowena Santos echoed the sentiment, calling the season a “true celebration of Brampton’s rich culture, creativity, and spirit.”
