Dr. Martino, President and CEO of William Osler Health System, has served as a family physician in Brampton for over 30 years. His leadership roles at Osler, including Chief of Staff and Interim Executive Vice President of Quality and Medical Affairs, have helped shape local healthcare policies and improve patient care. Beyond Brampton, he continues to make a significant impact at the provincial and national levels, while also mentoring future medical professionals at McMaster University.
Ken Mayhew, President and CEO of the William Osler Health System Foundation, has been instrumental in advancing healthcare funding. Under his leadership, the foundation exceeded its $100 million campaign goal by an additional $9 million, reinforcing critical hospital initiatives. With over two decades of experience in philanthropy, including leadership roles at the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Ken has dedicated his career to strengthening healthcare through strategic fundraising. His commitment to community well-being is evident in his support for organizations such as the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Canada, Imagine Canada, and the Rideau Hall Foundation.
During the event, MP Shafqat Ali commended Dr. Martino and Mr. Mayhew for their exceptional dedication, leadership, and vision, which have left a lasting impact on Brampton’s healthcare system.
