Fans who had hoped for the eagerly awaited reunion between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film ‘Inshallah’ were disheartened when the project was reportedly scrapped in 2019 due to creative differences. Recent rumors now hint at Shah Rukh Khan stepping into Salman’s shoes for the film, as King Khan shows interest in the script. However, no official confirmation has been provided.
Adding to the speculation, an old video resurfaced on Reddit, showcasing Salman Khan expressing feeling “offended” by Bhansali’s decision to cast Shah Rukh Khan in his subsequent films after their successful collaborations.
During an interview, Salman remarked, “I don’t know about other people, but he has definitely offended me. I gave him two hit films and then he took Shah Rukh Khan in the next one.” This has sparked concerns about the status of the actor-filmmaker relationship.
Furthermore, production designer Rubin Suchak confirmed last February that a significant rift between Salman and Bhansali led to the film’s cancellation. Rubin disclosed to News 18, “Salman and Bhansali didn’t want to work together on the film, which ultimately led to Salman walking away from the project.”
The question looming now is whether there’s any resolution in sight for Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s professional relationship.
Regarding Salman Khan’s other ventures, he was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’ and is set to appear in Karan Johar’s ‘The Bull’ and ‘Tiger Vs Pathaan.’
