We invite community members to join us in this important effort to keep our park, area, and neighborhood neat and clean. Bring your family and kids and help make a positive impact on our environment.

Regional Councillor Rowena Santos, a long-time supporter of P.A.L., stated, “I am proud to support P.A.L.’s efforts each year. Their dedication to keeping our city clean is truly inspiring. Every year, I participate in the cleanups and encourage everyone to join in. Together, we can make a difference and set a positive example for our children”

Bill Godfrey, President of P.A.L., stated, “Our mission is to inspire thousands of people to stand united and say, ‘enough is enough, we’ll pick up litter and eradicate it from our neighborhoods.’ It only takes about five minutes a week if everybody does it”

Ashwin Puri, Co-Host of the event, emphasized, “This cleanup is not just about picking up litter, but about establishing a new social norm where littering is no longer tolerated. Together, we can make a significant impact and create a cleaner, more beautiful community”

Gian Paul, Co-Host, added, “The participation of our community is crucial. It’s an opportunity to teach our children the importance of caring for our environment and to lead by example. Let’s come together and make Lakeland Village Park a cleaner and more enjoyable place for everyone”

Participants are reminded to wear appropriate clothing for the weather and conditions. Please follow all safety guidelines provided by P.A.L. to ensure a safe and enjoyable cleanup experience. Safety recommendations and a liability waiver must be read and agreed upon before attending.

Your participation is essential in helping us maintain a clean and beautiful environment. We look forward to seeing you there!
