Galen Naidoo Harris, a dedicated community advocate with a strong record of service to Milton residents, has been selected as the Ontario Liberal candidate for Milton.

Bonnie Crombie, Leader of Ontario’s Liberals, expressed enthusiasm for Naidoo Harris’s candidacy, highlighting his unwavering commitment to serving the community and his proven leadership qualities. Crombie emphasized Naidoo Harris’s dedication to putting the needs of Milton families first and his potential to effectively represent his generation at Queen’s Park.

A lifelong resident of Milton, Naidoo Harris has deep roots in the community and a wealth of experience in public service. His professional background includes collaboration with both provincial and federal governments, engagement with local businesses, and contributions to Wilfrid Laurier University.

During his tenure as Manager of Community Affairs for MP Adam van Koeverden, Naidoo Harris provided vital assistance to thousands of local residents, particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Naidoo Harris’s governance experience is extensive, having served on various local boards, including the Conservation Halton Foundation Board, where he has been a director for the past five years. Additionally, he actively volunteers in Milton and is the son of former local Liberal MPP and cabinet minister, Indira Naidoo Harris.

Expressing his commitment to addressing the needs of Milton residents, Naidoo Harris criticized the neglect by Doug Ford’s Conservatives, emphasizing their prioritization of well-connected insiders over the concerns of local families.
