Man Charged in $30K LCBO Liquor Theft Spree Across Toronto

A 42-year-old man is facing more than 100 criminal charges in connection with a series of thefts from LCBO stores across Toronto, allegedly stealing approximately $30,000 worth of liquor over the span of a year.

Toronto police announced Wednesday that the thefts occurred between April 13, 2024, and April 11, 2025. According to investigators, the man would walk into various LCBO outlets, take large quantities of alcohol, and leave the stores without making any effort to pay. The suspect, identified as Satvir Singh Toor, has no fixed address.

Following a joint investigation with LCBO investigators, police were able to identify and arrest Toor. He is now facing a total of 70 counts of failure to comply with an undertaking, 33 counts of theft under $5,000, and 33 counts of breach of probation. None of the charges have been tested in court.
